Our Mission
Since 1996, To Celebrate Life has granted funding to Bay Area organizations that assist breast cancer patients with emphasis targeting underserved communities and families. Programs funded include emergency and financial assistance, direct and navigational services, diagnostic testing, support groups and complementary holistic therapies. Patients are supported through all phases of their breast cancer journey from diagnosis to treatment and healing.

» 68 nonprofit organizations funded since 1996
From the 2025-2026 grant cycle:
» 3,740 unduplicated services were funded
» 2,542 unduplicated individuals were served
» 28 breast cancer diagnoses from funded diagnostic and navigation services

Our organization is fueled by volunteers, many of whom are breast cancer thrivers themselves. Your contributions support multiple stages of care and a broad range of services required for treatment and healing. We put your dollars to work in the community.
Emergency Funds
To cover rent, utilities and insurance co-pays while patients are unable to work during treatment.
Home meals delivered
Nutritious meals are delivered to breast cancer patients and their family members to support them during treatment, healing and recovery.
Transportation vouchers
So breast cancer patients don't have to ride the bus to their treatment or medical appointments
Complementary holistic
Therapy sessions to help breast cancer patients tolerate the side effects from chemotherapy and radiation
