Yvonne Robinson
When Yvonne was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001, she felt fortunate to be living in Marin County where there are so many support services available for individuals going through treatment. To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the local organizations that funded quite a few of the non-medical programs she benefited from during and after treatment. She became familiar with the organization when she volunteered to model in Stepping Out To Celebrate Life. She found her participation in this event to have such a positive impact on her that she credits this experience as one of the keys to her healing process.
Each subsequent year she has continued to volunteer with the organization as model committee lead and fashion show producer. Breast health issues, educating, helping and giving back to others who have struggled with this disease has been her forum. She is grateful to be associated with a quality organization that provided invaluable support for her during a difficult time and she is honored to be able to work with To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of others in her community.
