Sydney played in the Rally To Celebrate Life tennis tournament one year and joined the organizing committee the next—that was 15 years ago. In 2004, Sydney was invited to join the To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation Board. For two years, she chaired the organization’s Grants Review Committee, has held the positions of Recording Secretary, Vice President and President of the Board of Directors. Her duties on the Grants Review Committee gave her the opportunity to work with the organizations that benefit from the funds raised by the Foundation.
