To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation is currently seeking women and men diagnosed with breast cancer to volunteer to model in our 13th annual gala fundraising event, Stepping Out to Celebrate Life. Models of all sizes, ages and stages of treatment or post-treatment are invited to participate in this very special event.

In 1996 a group of recent breast cancer survivors and their friends joined together to form a non-profit organization: To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation (formerly the Marin Breast Cancer Council). To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation's goal is to raise funds for Bay Area non-profit organizations which provide support programs, early detection screening, emotional and educational services. This led to the creation of an annual gala event, Stepping Out to Celebrate Life, a festive evening, highlighted by an inspiring fashion show featuring local breast cancer survivors. This annual celebration enables our organization to join together women and men recently diagnosed with breast cancer to participate in an enriching, uplifting, and life-affirming experience. Many members of To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation have had the opportunity to participate as models in "Stepping Out." We feel this experience has been self-affirming and extremely rewarding. It provides emotional support and a positive direction during and after a very difficult time. The experience was a unique gift we received and we would like to make it available to others with this diagnosis. We hope you will join us in September for another evening of inspiration, hope, joy, laughter and fun as we honor and celebrate the lives of women and men surviving with breast cancer.
